Semester projects and Master theses

If you are interested in working with us, please just come by and talk to us! We offer different thesis topics in the context of our experiments in the HHG lab or at X-ray Free-Electron-Lasers. Depending on your interests the projects can be either more hands-on or more on the analysis side. Previous theses have dealt with the design and setup of novel detection schemes, or with the creation and focusing of intense and ultrashort short-wavelength pulses, others have contributed to the development of novel approaches for analysing diffraction data. Here, our latest approaches use neural networks for image classification.
